The Autumn SongFest concert took place at Holtwood Methodist Church, near Wimborne, on Saturday 30th October with music, dance and drama by friends from the Kinson Group of Anglican Churches, led by Bob Gritt.

Peter Aston then sang 'Fly with Me' from his new CD "Horton Tower ..….. and Other Dreams", and led the audience in a three part round 'Babylon'. The second half featured the Songfest Band, leading the audience in worship songs and material from Peter's "Name in the Sand" CD, which was released last Christmas.

Autumn SongFest was intended to be an outreach event to the local and wider community, following on from the half term Kids' Club - 'Going for Gold', which was led by our minister, Revd. Ralph Ward, and building on the friendships forged during that week. The idea was that you bought a ticket, and then received another one free so that you could invite a friend along, who might not otherwise have been there.

This was a challenge to us all! The Church was full, with many people visiting Holtwood for the first time. The evening was a real joy - thanks for your prayerful support.
